So… that was a rather long break from blogging. I like how my last post was pt. 1. For any of you that just have been patiently waiting – I salute you. Those of you that never even noticed my absence – I salute you too. But… since I had the privilege to hang out with David C Wilson last weekend where he actually asked me why I haven’t updated my blog in forever, I figure I should step this up a bit. I mean, between David C Wilson and Danielle Krasse I now know I have two readers of this poor excuse of a blog.
And since the main reason for my blog absence is that I have been super duper busy lately – that means I have plenty of storytelling to share with you. Let’s start by doing this pt. 2 back track thingy.
For this New York trip I would like to thank Reebok for hooking us up with NHL tickets. And adidas for the NBA tickets. Also shout out (yes, very hiphop) to Mike Packer for also hooking us up with tickets.

- They do a pretty good job over at the RRL office. I mean, their stores look nice. It looks like something the DQM Vans store wanted to look like. But still not Vansy. Even tried to buy something, but didn’t really found anything

- Hooked up with David C Wilson in Soho. That is one good dude.

- Most might know. But DQM stands for Dave’s Quality Meat. But Dave is no longer around. He has is own store just around the corner from Canal Street a few blocks east on broadway. Thank’s for the t-shirts Dave

- This guy is a huge fan of Hockey. But not the Rangers. He loves Boston Bruins. This will be on the test, so you better take notes.

- I’ve been to a few NBA games in the Garden. This was my first NHL. The crowd was… let’s say different…

- Of course they had a girl to shovel the snow of the ice. And of course she had a smaller shovel the the guys…

- After the game we hooked up with Rachel and Rosie from adidas who happened to be in town. Dinner at La Esquina.

- I still amaze myself with my photographic skills. Incidentally I just noticed that J-bawls has pretty much the same outfit I send my son to pre-school in. I like stripes

- The suites. Pros – free booze and food. Cons – you can’t see the game from there. But from what I’m told I saw the end of Linsanity as Knicks lost to the worst team in the leauge

- And then we had to head out to a Jeremy Scott party. It felt a bit like haning out in the reception in Ugly Betty (yes – I’ve seen that show. I am married). Peter tried to blend in

- Hooked up with the TBS crew at the Jeremy Scott party. Took that party with us to Time Square where we hung out with this guy. TBS loves everything japanese

- Funloving guys those TBS boys. They should install some sort of a UV-B light in iphone, and these guys would have the best tan on Ribban

- Our concierge Ariel at Tribecca Grand was kind enough to write a todo list of places to see. We never even made half of them..

- But I did get to hang out with this guy. If you see him, order a Mojito. That bar had a pretty good mojito.

- I was very glad to be home. And this little guy was very happy to see me as well

- Even though we just had a quick dinner, all of a sudden it’s almost midnight

- But no complaints on waking up to sunshine the next morning.

- I used to drink a lot of coffee when I was younger. My stomach finally said no. But now I have learned that a single shot latte is ok with my stomach. Anyone taking notes?

- I do enjoy a nice cup of fruit in the morning.
